This museum shows mechanical calculating machines from the antient time to the present. This Museum combines art and science. Learning, experience and understanding of scientific and technical facts and aesthetic enjoyment... After the visit of the Arithmeum we will enjoy beautiful old villas on the way to the Hausdorff-Center.
The "Hausdorff Center for Mathematics" is one of the 37 Clusters of Excellence, which are being funded for five years each within the German government's Excellence Initiative.
An editional option is a visit to the House of Beethoven.
