Aims and Scope

The aim of the workshop is to bring together researchers working on various aspects of group theory in order to report on recent developments as well as to chart new directions in the area.
The workshop will focus on geometric group theory, asymptotic group theory and profinite groups, and it will be accessible to graduate students and young researchers.

The workshop is partially supported by the Alexander von Humboldt Foundation, the Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft (GRK 2240) and the Mathematical Institute of the University of Düsseldorf.
